Robert Lloyd-Parry will transport you to James’ candlelit study in Kings College, Cambridge as he tells these classic stories.  There are two stories each evening.

On Saturday 10th February, enter the historic Martello Tower and immerse yourself in two tales with Nordic connections – Count Magnus & Number 13.

In Count Magnus a travel-writer’s over-inquisitiveness leads to a breathless, diabolical chase from darkest Sweden to rural Essex.

Denmark is the setting for Number 13, where a hotel room, with the famously unlucky number, conceals a ghastly and baffling secret.

The Wish Tower is the perfect setting to enhance the spooky atmosphere of these special stories but it will be a little cool and damp, please wrap up warm.  There are steps too the main door of the Tower and spiral stairs to the performance area.  If you’re concerned about accessibility, please drop us a message and we’ll do everything we can to help.

The stories are not suitable for under 13’s.
