I’m afraid I’m too tired to post in detail about the Wish Tower Discovery days this evening…that’ll come in the next few days.
Suffice to say our volunteers did us proud – from mounting exhbition panels, arranging tables of reference materials, marking the outline of the Wish Tower – full size – on the floor in tape, showing people around the tower, meeting and greeting, and generally being fantastic.
If asked, I’d have said if we could get a couple of dozen people in to see the exhibition over the two days and talk to us, then I’d have been perfectly satisfied. In the event our best estimate of attendance is well over 400 people.
Thank you to all our volunteers and other supporters for their exceptional work – and thanks, too, to all the visitors who continue to support us and let us know that we should keep at it.
