We’re delighted to be taking part in Heritage Open Days – we will be opening the Wish Tower for six days over September!
You will have the chance to explore inside the historic Martello Tower, and learn about how it has been used and modified in the 200+ years it has been part of Eastbourne’s coastline.
On Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Tuesday 10th, Saturday 14th, and Sunday 15th, we will be open for self-guided visits between 13:00 and 16:00, and the Wish Tower Friends will be on hand to answer any questions you might have! No pre-booking is required and entry is free – donations are greatly appreciated.
We will also be running a special guided Architectural Tour on Wednesday 11th September, where the Wish Tower Friends will take a small group around and point out the many curious features of our Tower! Entry is free, but pre-booking is required so we can manage numbers. Please visit our Eventbrite page to book.
Unfortunately, the Wish Tower is not accessible as there are steps up to the main entrance, basement, and roof.
