Join The Wish Tower Friends, and help keep Eastbourne’s heritage alive!
We’re on the lookout for more volunteers to help us look after the Tower, and share our story with more people! Could it be you?
Since taking over the Tower in 2013, the Wish Tower Friends have welcomed well over 15,000 visitors and run hundreds of open days, special events, and architectural tours.
We are an entirely volunteer-run group, and all donations go towards keeping the Tower, an icon of Eastbourne’s seafront and heritage, open for future generations.
You don’t need any special skills or experience to get involved – just an interest in lending us a hand! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re interested in:
- Welcoming visitors during open days
- Researching and sharing our history
- Helping with ongoing maintenance
- Creating content for our website and social media
At the moment, with our small team, we normally open on Sunday afternoons between spring and autumn, and occasionally on other days during summer, or when there are special events.
You won’t need to commit to taking part every week, or even every month – you’ll get to meet like-minded people, gain new skills, and make a real difference to our community.
